Thank you to my clients

My real estate overview in 2009

I would like to send a special thank you to all of my clients for your business in 2009!

In this wild wild business just when you think the market is going one way, it may suddenly take you in a different direction. 2009 was just like this for me. Just when I thought my business was slowing down, I always found someone moving in or out of Idaho. It is a great business.

Just recently John L Scott posted on their web site http://johnlscott.com the 2009 Sales Associates Awards. For the third year in a row, I received the 2009 Emerald Award . If it wasn't for my client's loyalty, commitment and trust in me, I wouldn't have done as well as I did in 2009! Thank you again.

My business in 2009 consisted of these fun facts:

•50% of my clients were first-time home buyer
•The youngest client was 21 years old
•84% of my business came from referrals from friends
•Two clients were expecting their first baby
•Four were single
•I helped four clients living in California and Indiana buy and sell their homes - through our RELO network of friends.
•State that client moved the farthest to was South Dakota.
•Farthest state a client moved from was Colorado
•Shortest distance a client bought after selling their home was 4.52 miles.

If I'm missing any fun facts that you're aware of, please let me know!

Introducing the Real Estate Potato (REal Potato) blog by Ana Maron

Welcome to the REal Potato blog. I will feature great information about Idaho real estate.

Well here I am for the first time in my life writing a blog. I never thought I'd find myself blogging. Why not? I always thought, "who reads blogs anyway?" Ohh boy was I wrong when I came up with answers to that question. Many times I would Google something and little did I know I was reading someone's blog for answers.

WOW the value of information that is put on blogs is overwhelming. I would like to make mine fun, entertaining, easy to read, and a informative as well. My main focus will be real estate in our great State of Idaho. So, how did I come up with the name REal Potato? Here's the story.

Once again, I Googled "how to name your blog" "tips on naming your blog" - name it, I typed it so I can do it 'right". I wanted a play on words, but for it to be catchy, unique, and FUN. So I started with the word REAL as in real estate. To make it stand out I decided to put emphasis on the two letters RE by capitalizing them. The rest of the letters "al" would remain in lower case.

My biggest challenge was what next? REal what? I did want to give it a connection to Idaho and after brainstorming ideas, my daughter (Natalia) said, what about Potato? Awhhh Potato- a great symbol for our great State. Sounded excellent. All my friends throughout the country associate me by living in the state of potatoes! So why not...it fits perfectly with what I do for a living and where I am proud to live. So, once again, thank you for visiting my new blog called REal Potato!

Please visit me on my web site for good information for buyers, sellers, view my listings, and much more at http://anamaron.com

Until next week!
